JDK 1.3.1_09
Eclipse 3.3
TPTP Platform 4.4.1
Tracing and Profiling Tools Project 4.3.1

I have a Java application that I can run successfully within Eclipse.
When I attempt to profile it with the pre-1.5 monitoring and "Basic Memory
Analysis" set, it seems to start up and then immediately dies. I can tell
that my application doesn't even start since there is no log file
activity. Is TPTP 4.4.1 stable enough to use?

All I see in the .log file for Eclipse is:

"!ENTRY org.eclipse.tptp.platform.common.ui.trace 2008-01-22 14:37:18.740
!MESSAGE Processed: 9241045 bytes, bytes/second: 1026782, events
processed: 87163, events/second: 9684, elapsed time: 9 seconds

!ENTRY org.eclipse.tptp.platform.common.ui.trace 2008-01-22 14:37:18.740
!MESSAGE Processed: 9241045 bytes, bytes/second: 1026782, events
processed: 0, events/second: 0, elapsed time: 9 second"

which doesn't look like a problem?

How can I proceed to troubleshoot this problem? Or should I just roll
back to 4.4.0.3?

Thanks,
Wes

Hi Wes,
You can set DEBUG log level in the AC's serviceconfig.xml file.
Another option is to start profiling from command line and attach to it
from the workbench.

Igor
