Nice to hear Hallvard, by getting 2 plugins (org.eclipse.emf.texo/org.eclipse.emf.texo.json) you can do EMF <--> JSON
conversions and include the JSONTexoResource in a RCP.
Your students can connect their mobile web clients to the Texo generated server side quite easily:

The JSON server side support has quite some features especially for higher volume datasets.
