When you run Eclipse, you have to have a workspace. It will will be
filled in when you create it.
Don't install using the repositories for you Linux distribution. They
are not supported by the Eclipse forums. You should remove what you
have installed and download Eclipse from the download page at
Eclipse.org. Unzip it into a directory, point the eclipse.ini to your
JDK VM runtime and you are ready to go.
