In my GMF diagram, I have a lot of nodes that get shown on the palette.
I was thinking it would be great to add a search functionality to the palette.

Any tips on how I could accomplish this ?

Hi,

you can modify the Palette via modifying the Generation Template. For instance we added buttons on it: see http://www.bonitasoft.org/websvn/filedetails.php?repname=Bonita+Open+Solution&path=%2Fbonita-studio%2Ftags%2Fbonita-studio-5.7.2%2Fplugins%2Forg.bonitasoft.studio-models%2FGMFTemplates%2Faspects%2Fxpt%2Feditor%2Fpalette%2FPaletteFactory.xpt
