Ok, so definite newbie here. I had eclipse-cdt installed on my linux box, everything was working well, until I went and installed the updates in eclipse via Help>Check for Updates. Now when I go to create a new project or look under preferences all the c++ options are gone. I uninstalled and reinstalled many different ways. Could any guess what happened here? I am stumped

Let me know any other information you need to understand my problem.

Thanks for helping

Trever

When something like this happened to me I had accidentally changed out of C/C++ view into Resource view (check the right-hand side immediately below the toolbar - the highlighted box should be 'C/C++'
