Hi,

How can I install a plugin from .jar file (UMLet) on linux? I have Eclipse Helios and I have to install the plugin using normal linux account without any su permissions. Is it possible ? How can I do that?

I don't know what UMLet is, but are you assuming that you have to have
root privileges to install and maintain Eclipse? You should have
installed Eclipse locally to your own user filesystem where you have
full rights. Eclipse is a personal productivity tool. It can be shared
as you suggest, but most do not do that.
