I have a Java application which requires the user to specify a "-product" argument. I want to convert this Java application to an Eclipse RCP application. However when I try to run the Eclipse RCP application, my application fails to start because Eclipse tries to read the "-product" argument value and fails if the product string specified by the user doesn't match what it is expecting. Is there any way to change this behavior so that Eclipse doesn't try to read and interpret the "-product" argument?

Thanks in advance for any help
