Having the same Problem.
If I check "Add a progress bar" and "Add a progress message" I'm able to
modify posistion and size.
Once the checkboxes are unchecked, progress bar and message are
displayed on top of the splash.
I don't want progress bar and progress message top be displayed and
found a trick that works for me.
I check both checkboxes and set hight and weight of progress bar and
progress message to "0".
That's surely not the way it's meant to be done, but it does the trick.
