I have successfully just installed Eclipse to start Java development on my Windows7 PC. The Eclipse programming environment started right after the installation and I even wrote and ran that "Hello world" program.

Then I closed Eclipse, but when I wanted to start again I don't find, or a shortcut to it, in my Windows directories like any other Windows application. Isn't there somewhere an "Eclipse.exe" file? Help!!

Best regards - Kristinn

This is because Eclipse isn't in fact installed in the Windows sense.
All you did was unzip it to wherever you put it. If you want it in the
start-up menu, you'll have to create and insert a shortcut yourself.

eclipse.exe will be in the folder you unzipped Eclipse into.
