Hi all,

I'm taking a stab at writing a functional testing tool for SWT apps.

I've looked at Abbot and AGR, and have come up with a mechanism that is
somewhere in between (http://swtbot.sf.net).

I'm very happy with the progress of SWTBot so far, I'm however left
clueless as to how I can go about with the likes of FileDialogs,
MessageDialogs, ColorDialogs, etc.

I've looked at AGR, and I could not find a place where AGR handles these
dialogs, I tried recording and playback of some eclipse features that
deal with these dialogs, and it seems that AGR does not handle them.

Can anyone throw any thoughts or ideas on how SWTBot could go about
interacting with such dialogs ?

Cheers,
Ketan Padegaonkar

Hi Ketan,
The AGR does not support SWT/native dialogs:

Thanks, Paul.

It does seem interesting that SWT does not lend itself to testability,
and developers have to bend backwards to make things testable.
