Wrong behavior of SmartField Ubuntu 12.04 /SWT [message #897464]

Under SWT i can't modify a smart field value. Clicking on the loupe pop up window opens and
closed. Inserting a value the same behaivor.

How can i fix this problem ?

For swing and RAP works fine.

I attached a video for a better understanding.

Hi Karlheinz

This seems to be a bug in the scout swt layer on linux. This is Eclipse 4.2. isn't it? Have you tried it with Eclipse 3.8? It may work but I can't tell for sure, I personally have never tried it on linux.

I verified the described behavior. Unfortunatly there are diffrent orders of the native events (traverse, focus).

There is definitly some improvment required. Therefore I opend BUG 386140.
