Export report to excel [message #897010] Fri, 20 July 2012 14:47 Go to next message

I am developing my reports in an environment where my reports will be deployed in SOA Repository Managere which is a web based tool.

Here I am missing with the export features that I see from BIRT Report Designer.

If I need to export my report to excel, is there any possibility that I can achieve the export functionality.

I am using BIRT 2.6.1 and SOA 6.3.

Please help me with your suggestions.

Thanks
AR

Are you using the report engine or the viewer?

Hi I am able to identify the solution.

In SOA environment we are deploying the report using URL. While creating the URL we have to modfiy the URL to achieve the requirement.

Thanks Jason Smile

Oh , I missed the URL

For example:

Default URL using /run?:
http://norway.internal.logiclibrary.com/rm/birt/run?__report=reports/WhatsNew.rptdesign&libraryID=12:9&database_schema_name=&server_url=http://norway.internal.logiclibrary.com/rm

Modified URL using /frameset?:
http://norway.internal.logiclibrary.com/rm/birt/frameset?__report=reports/WhatsNew.rptdesign&libraryID=12:9&database_schema_name=&server_url=http://norway.internal.logiclibrary.com/rm

So far I am able to identify the solution, if I encounter any further issues ...will update accordingly.

Thanks
