Programmatically detach a view [message #895587] Fri, 13 July 2012 13:05 Go to next message

On our Eclipse-3.7-based project, we use org.eclipse.ui.internal.PerspectiveHelper.detachPart( IViewReference ref ) to detach parts dynamically.

As this class has been removed from Eclipse 4.2, what's the new way to detach views programmatically?

Best regards
