Closing editor using CTRL+F4 leaves tooltip behind [message #895392]

If an editor is closed using CTRL+F4 while a tooltip related to parts of the editor is showing, the editor closes leaving the tooltip behind. The tooltip remains on until the application is exited. I have attached an image that was captured after closing two editors using CTRL+F4, successively, while each editor had a tooltip on.

I am looking for suggestions on what to look for or to try to remove the tooltip when
closing the associated editor using CTRL+F4. I can provide additional information if needed.
