Work Product View in Process [message #894983] Wed, 11 July 2012 06:42

I am having a problem with the published view in EPF. I have a task that is associated with a role and a work product. Both the role and work product are contributing to a list, contained within a group. When I add the task to a process, the roles associated with that task are pulled into the process and displayed. Any roles in the list but not associated with the task so not appear. Makes sense right?

So, when I try to replicate this behavior with work products, I get stuck. The full list of work products is displayed, even though they are not associated with the task. They all appear in the published view of the process under 'work product usage' - those associated with the task have a descriptor, those that are not associated with it do not have one. The name of the work product still has a hyperlink but this does not take you anywhere, as there is no associated descriptor.

How do I overcome this issue? Is this a EPF bug??? Any advice would be greatly appriciated.
