Hello Group,

I have 2 nodes, connected with a wire.
One of these nodes is within a container.
When i downsize the container that way, that the the node within
gets out of the bounds of the container, the node disappears. - thats ok.
But the connection leads into nowhere, exactly there where the node is
supposed to be...

I know of the seperate connection layer and that this topic is sure
problematic,
but is there a way or are there plans to avoid this - i mean, that the
connection leads "into" the container and ends at the containers bounds?

This is what the logic example does, and we borrowed this "laziness" from
VA-Java's composition editor.
If your application really has connections which go across or are within
containers, there are ways of handling this for your specific editor.

Well, the screenshot was from the logic editor and my application
behaves the same way.
What would you suggest to do to handle this problem?

Regards, Ingo

I have no idea what the user would expect in this situation. Some clients
are clipping the anchor to the node's parent.
