Hello pals,
I have a simple little test model with one type of node whose
semantic element has one attribute.
After I cut and paste in the generated editor the new part is
in a wrong state. The symptoms:
1) Its figure is marked with a X inside a O in the upper-right corner :-)
2) The label of the new part is empty ( [] ) and is not editable
3) If I change the value of the attribute via the Properties View
the changes are not reflected in the label.
4) If I save the diagram and, the tree editor,
change the value of the attribute there, save and switch back
to the diagram editor - the new value is not reflected.
I tried to debug the state of the diagram but it seems ok,
the diagram edit part holds refs. to the right child edit parts,
which hold ref. to the right view model, which hold ref. to the right
semantic...
I found no info whatsoever about cut / paste problems.
Has anybody faced this before? Can you reproduce it?
Cheers,
Theo

Hi Seweryn,
I already applied your tip described there, without
the UUIDs Copy & Paste doesn't work at all.
What I'm talking about here is something different.
The funny part is that it is so obvious, many people
should have seen it ...

Hi Theo,
I've just found myself involved with the same cut and paste problem, and
as you say the funny thing is that it looks like no one ever saw this ...
bug?? or whatever...
It is kind of weird that I'm being able to cut anything from a diagram
and paste it on another canvas, but when I try to repeat this process on
the same canvas it shows exactly as you describe.
the question is:
did anyone find a solution to this????
Thank you!
