Hello!
I am in the process of researching everything that needs to be done to
create a custom RSE service. I understand how create the service itself
after looking at the SSH, FTP, and dstore implementations, but now I have
a question about UI customization for the service.
In the New Connection Wizard, which lists all available connection types,
say you select "SSH Only" and click Next. Is the following wizard page
customizable? In my case, the connection I'm creating will not have a host
name and instead the user will need to select a virtual machine.
Thanks!

The extension point you are looking for is
org.eclipse.ui.newConnectionWizards. The plugin org.eclipse.rse.discovery
contains a example of contributing a wizard for a specific system type. See
the extension point documentation for details on the extension point
attributes.

I see from the post "How to open a new connection wizard for a particular
system type?" that it is indeed possible to customize the new connection
wizard.
Are there any example classes in the RSE source tree that customize the
new connection wizard? My searches have come up empty.
Thanks!
Troy
