Hello,

I would like to know whether it is possible to send an
automatic e-mail when commiting from within eclipse, like it is
when committing from command-line ?

My original question is about cvs but the same applies to svn.

this is usually done by the SVN server. Please check SVN documentation, keyword "Hook scripts".
