adding user library to tomcat classpath [message #116569] Wed, 06 July 2005 06:28 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
doesn't seem to work.

running "0.7m5".

add user library to tomcat server via:

"open launch configuration->classpath->advanced->user library"

but user lib jars don't seem to get into the classpath.

scanned bugzilla, but didn't see anything related.

is this a known bug or should i enter into bugzilla?

thanks,
tony.

Eclipse UserFriend
oddly enough, if i add a project which has that user library in it's
build path and exports it, the user lib jars are visible in the
classpath...?

as an aside, i was trying to find where this server level classpath info
is managed so i could peek at what was going on under the covers, but i
couldn't seem to find it (assuming it is in an xml file somewhere).

can anyone shed light on this?

thanks!
