Configuring arguments for Launch Configuration [message #879] Sat, 19 April 2003 22:58 Go to next message

I'm trying to determine if there is a way in Eclipse to specify "the
currently selected file" in the Arguments tab of the Launch Configuration.
My end goal is to run org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient and deploy the
selected deploy.wsdd file. Allowing me to specify "the currently selected
file" would allow my Launch Configuration to be shared across projects (even
within the same project) and not be dependant upon the physical
path/filename.

The answer is no for the general case. Currently only supported for External
tool launch configurations. We have a bug report request to provide this
functionality from the debug framework as well.
