Building a project always does a "clean"? [message #114952] Tue, 10 August 2004 19:01

Hello

I have observed this behaviour with CDT 2.0 and Eclipse 3.0.
If I select a project and have the "Automatically build" feature on,
then the incrementation build does not clean the existing object files.
However, if I DO NOT HAVE this feature on, and I select a project
and then ask it to be built (using Project->Build) then the first
make command that is issued is "make -k clean".

Is this a known (mis)behavior or is this intentional?

Cheers
