There are times when I hit Ctrl+Z to undo something, and the view shifts up or down, leaving me a little disoriented. It seems to be random right now as I'm not sure what circumstances cause it to happen.

I just found one way it does it. If I'm typing in a style in a div tag and I paste a color without the # symbol, then hit Ctrl+Z, it shifts the page up several lines.

I just discovered this happens if I type some code in a .php file with HTML in it, switch to another program (like the browser), then come back and hit Ctrl+Z, it flips the view up and the line I'm looking at is now down the screen, throwing me off.

Is there a fix for this?! It's driving me nuts.

It seems like it's shifting back to the view placement I had at the time I added the code, so if my viewport was showing lines 43 - 100, it will try to shift back to that view even if the code is already in the view, making an unnecessary and disorienting code shift.

Please is there any way to make it not shift the view if the code is already in view?

Also if it is not in view, how does it decide how to show the line in the viewport?
