TreeViewer shows plus on leaf with ViewerFilter [message #114348]

(hierarchyindicator) is showing on leaf items (only leaf items
containing filtered items). When clicking on that plus, it
disappears.

I don't like this behavior.
Is there a workaround?

This is my code:

myViewer.addFilter(new ViewerFilter()
{
public boolean select(Viewer viewer, Object parent, Object element)
{
return !(element instanceof MyClass);
}
});
