[Teneo] JoinColumn Annotation [message #114087] Fri, 07 March 2008 12:34 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
From the website:
The following annotations are not (yet) supported:
* 9.1.6: JoinColumn Annotation
* 9.1.7: JoinColumns Annotation
* 9.1.12: EmbeddedId Annotation
* 9.1.25: MapKey Annotation
* 9.1.30: PrimaryKeyJoinColumn Annotation
* 9.1.31: PrimaryKeyJoinColumns Annotation

Just wanting to confirm that Teneo doesn't support the JoinColumn
Annotation?

I'm looking at migrating a JPA project to TENO and we have a lot of
JoinColumn annotations, so if the answer to the above is 'still not
supported', I guess I would ask is there a good alternative to JoinColumn?

Thanks!

Hi Refux,
Teneo - Hibernate supports all the jpa annotations
(http://www.elver.org/hibernate/ejb3_features.html). However Teneo - Jpox has currently less support
as you outline below. So if you want to use jpox then let me know, i.e. add bugzillas for the
annotations you require.
Note that currently Teneo is tested with Jpox 1.1.9, Jpox just released their 1.2 version. I am
planning to upgrade to 1.2 after Eclipsecon, then I can also look at support for more annotations.
