I recently reinstalled all the files on my computer (which involved having to reinstall indigo). My old OS was Ubuntu 11.04 and the new was 12.04.

Whenever I run my RCP application, I now get an error about not being able to load the UI activator. My program seems to run fine I don't notice any differences in it'Os performance, I just get odd messages on startup and shut down.

On startup I keep getting the following:

!ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 2012-05-07 16:15:28.781
!MESSAGE Unable to load UI activator

!ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 2012-05-07 16:15:28.782
!MESSAGE Unable to load UI activator

Check your run configuration, probably some bundles are not started.

Start from scratch with a new workspace (if you're not already). Not sure if it is p2 or some other metadata, but I experienced a similar problem and I just had to start over.

Then double check your launch configurations. (Specifically watch for the required versions)
