I'm running Eclipse Indigo Classic (3.7.2) on Windows 7 64-bit with the latest JDK 7.

Trying to access the same files using Firefox gets me a 404 status. I can browse the internet, download files, and do everything else just fine; eclipse is the only program acting this way. I tested this on my Ubuntu and Arch Linux installs as well, with the same result each time.

I've attached a screenshot with this post. Please let me know if I need to provide anything else.

Exactly, so the 503 response is coming from elsewhere. Do you use a proxy server to access the Internet? If so, have you configured those same proxy settings in Eclipse?

I'm connected through a WiMAX router provided by my ISP. I haven't touched the Eclipse settings yet.

If you're using IPv6 can you entertain me and try this:

/path_to_eclipse/eclipse -vmargs -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

It managed to download a bunch of content.jar files before throwing the same error.
