XML catalog and schema imports [message #112637] Sun, 19 June 2005 07:01 Go to next message

Hi,
I have a user defined XML schema catalog with several entries. It works
just fine when I edit XML files that are instances of the schemas but I
can't get the XML-Schema <import namespace="xxx"/> to work property. It
seems that the XML-Schema editor itself doesn't use the XML catalog. Is
that the case?

Thomas Hallgren

I should ... if you can not get to work with recent build (e.g. 6/24 I-build),
please open a bug with small sample files and schemas, that would be very
helpful and much apprecitated.

I could not get the XSD editor to use the catalog to resolve URI for
imported schema. I would like to use this while creating a new schema that
imports and extends a standard schema from the catalog.

I am running the 17 June I-build of WTP with Eclipse 3.1 RC2

See bugzilla with attached test schemas:

Dave, thanks for logging the defect. We are investigating it and will
update bug comments.

Best regards, Ella
