Hi,

I'm having hard time with link files in the dropins folder. I'm not sure
this is a bug, so I'm wondering if anybody else got it to work.

I created text files, placed them in the dropins folder. The files only
contain one line, for example:
path=/Applications/Dev/eclipse-3.4-plugins/

Under that folder I have the following folders:
path=/Applications/Dev/eclipse-3.4-plugins/eclipse
path=/Applications/Dev/eclipse-3.4-plugins/eclipse/plugins
path=/Applications/Dev/eclipse-3.4-plugins/eclipse/features

I'm working on Mac OS X.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Zviki

Hi,

I managed to solve the problem... by downloading RC4 :-)

I have another question: does the dropins folder supposed to eliminate the
need for running eclipse with the "-clean" option?

I'm developing a plug-in and I'm testing it in my IDE (not in debug mode).
About once a day I'm exporting my plug-in and update my IDE. Is it
supposed to be working using the dropins folder? I had problems with that
and had to resort to "-clean". Is this a bug?
