VE view dispaly errors [message #111411] Sun, 27 November 2005 11:22 Go to next message

I have 2 problems.

1. I have a viewpart that was designed by VE, loaded up eclipse today
and the VE doesn't show all the grid layout properly. At run time view
is correct, but in the IDE it is not. all grid data is in one column
when in run time it looks correct (many columns in grid data)
If I open the view part with jigloo all looks ok as it should.

I have not edited the view ever with jigloo so this should not be the
issue. Jigloo shows the view correct but VE doesn't. I can't use Jigloo
as it is only a non commercial copy.

2. I have a scrolled composite that after opening does not show at all.
once again in run time (outside IDE) this view works fine. there are no
code errors. The Java bean view shows all components that on the
scrolledComposite and the scrolledComposite have problems.(little red
cross).

This is annoying because they work in run time but not design time..

Can you send us copies of the classes? There may be some syntax
structure that we don't understand.

I'll send you the class files. I haven't added any code myself only used
VE to design the GUI page so far and the view is blank.

Problem 1 mysteriously went away on a reboot... strange.
