Hi,

I got a RAP prototype which I created a while back. Today I started
looking at it again. As my workspace/target platform changed a bit I
updated it to RAP 1.2.0-M2. After some struggling with dependencies I
got it now all setup and starting fine. The only problem is, that I
don't get it working.

When I open my app, I see it for a moment (some seconds) and then the
screen changes into "The server session timed out. Please click here to
restart the session." Of course, clicking the link doesn't help. It
shows my app again for a few seconds and then the session dies again.

This happens on Jetty 6.1 (from Orbit) using JDK 1.6.0_07 on Windows
Vista SP1 32bit. I tried to debug it a bit. But I need some more
insights into where to set breakpoints and what else you need to
reproduce the problem.

So far, I noticed that some ThreadDeath is going on which might kill the
UI thread. I wonder why. From the comment in the code it seems that this
is expected.

Hi Gunnar,

I experienced the same problem and found out that the reason was somehow
related to Firebug. If this addon is active try to disable/uninstall it.

Hello Gunnar,

Did you end up finding out what was the reason for this behaviour? I'm having the same problem when accessing a RAP app deployed on tomcat.
