I do not think the VE supports the dummy JSpinner object yet. You can
look at http://javaalmanac.com/cgi-bin/search/find.pl?words=JSpinner for
sample code and
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/javax/swing/JSpinner .html for
the API.

There is another GUI plugin that does support but it is free for
NON-COMMERCIAL use only

Pete,

The JSpinner component is not on the pallette in VE 1.1, but you can
drop it onto your UI using the Choose Bean button on the pallette.
Simply enter JSpinner into the dialog, then drop the spinner like any
other visual component.
