My only solution to this, because it's the OS rather than Eclipse that
decides colors underneath, is to adopt Clearlooks. As I don't use Unity,
I can't tell you how to get there, but in GNOME the procedure is System
-> Preferences -> Appearance -> Theme -> Clearlooks.
