I'm moving from Helios to Indigo. I've created a fresh install and am adding the plugins.
With Helios, I set the permissions of the Eclipse directory to R-X (750) so that users' configs are stored in their homes.
Trying to add a link here for the help where I got this from, but I can't. Just google "eclipse shared install" and it's the first result.
But when I try to do this now, other users get
The configuration area at '/software/Eclipse/linux-gtk-x86_64/eclipse-jee-indigo-SR2-linux-gtk-x86_64-20120410/configuration' is not writable. Please choose a writable location using the '-configuration' command line option.
I didn't need to use the -configuration flag in the ini before. I just want the configs in ~/.eclipse/
Thanks.
