Hi Thomas,
we are still in the process of investigating qx 0.8. As of now, we
don't have enough decent information at hand to share.
Please be patient, we will publish our findings as soon as they are
available.
Cheers,
Rüdiger

Regardless of our qx 0.8 plans, we aim to incorporate the fixes for
the memory issues in RAP. With no doubt they will go into the 1.2
stream (either as a 0.7.x update or while migrating to 0.8).
To integrate the memory fixes into 1.1.x, we currently see two options:
* (preferred!) the qx team publishes the fixes in a 0.7.4
release early enough for us to integrate it in the 1.1.2
service release. Please note that apart from technical
aspects every qx release that we want to incorporate has
to pass the IP process [1] which takes its time.
* (quick and dirty) apply the proposed bug fixes to the 0.7.3
code base currently used by RAP. This still leaves a rather
technical aspect, which is, that we would have better confidence
in the fixes if they were reviewed and accepted by the qx team.

Hi Rüdiger,
ok, I am just asking because today there is no Browser working
with RAP in MacOS. FF2 has the known SASH Bug. FF3 has a known
Bug and Safari has also a known Bug with RAP.
Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Benny,
Bug 192146 - its fixed in CVS HEAD but not in a Release which
is today available. So we have to wait until 06/2009 to
use Mac OS with RAP Release 1.2. It would be nice if this
could also be fixed for the current Release 1.1.1.
Or Bug 229574 which will be fixed with qx 0.8.
Cheers,
Thomas
