Hello All,

Using the Windows Explorer, would like to open certain files directly with
Eclipse. Have tried using 'open with', but get a Windows error:
<filename> is not a valid Win32 application.

How is it possible to get the file in Windows Explorer to be opened in
Eclipse?

thank you,

Rami

Since M4, you can use the "Open External File" command to open any file
(see the M4 new&noteworthy document on the download page for instructions).

It is very common to be able to open a file using "Open with" from a
Windows-Explorer. Is it really not possible. Is it on the roadmap?

thank you,

Rami

No, it is really not possible. Except you (or someone else) writes a
plug-in (listener) plus a batch- or exe-file that talks to that listener
plug-in which then opens the file.

As far as I know it is not.
