Hi there,
I am tracing this problem from the top down so I apologize if this is not the best forum for it. Please feel free to redirect me.
I am using the GEF (3.7) utilities exposed through Graphiti to render some diagrams to SVG and then convert them to PDF. My issue stems from the fact that when I use the utility on Windows (7) everything seems dandy. When I render it on linux (RH 6, through VMware) the image is not quite as nice. In fact much of the text is truncated. I believe GEF uses the batik SVG rendering utilities. (?)
Is there any reported reason, that anyone knows or can speculate about, as to why this would be the case? This was reported back in 2010 (as a ticket in GMF) https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=315028
and purportedly fixed. I checked with the Graphiti folks and it is using at least
3.7 with Indigo.
If you have any feed back I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Joe
