Hi All,
I need some direction in adapting Ecore model Editor plugin to an Editor
that can work Hibernate based (Teneo) metamodels. Perhaps this
functionality already exists.

Thanks and regards,
-Mdu

Hi Mdu,
Did you try this tutorial?
http://www.elver.org/hibernate/tutorialtwo/tutorial2_intro.h tml

Or do you mean something else?

Hi Martin,
Thanks. The tutorial illustrates how one can create instances from the
model. But would this allow me to edit the metamodel itself - e.g. add
property, relationship, etc.?

-Mdu

Hi Mdu,
Okay, you mean adapt the ecore model editor. The ecore editor should read the model from a database
resource, a database resource can be opened using the uri format as described here:
http://www.elver.org/hibernate/hibernateresources.html#Resou rce+URI

I think Ed can help on how to adapt/extend the ecore model editor (plugin) itself to do this
programmatically (i.e. open a specific resource which does not have the extension ecore).
