First of all, first post here.
Secondly, probably the wrong location as well.
Either way; I've got this really annoying problem where sometimes Eclipse will stop working after my workspace is initialized. That is, Windows 7 tells me that two threads within Eclipse.exe are waiting for network-IO to complete. Uses up 100% CPU usage and just hangs and never exits.
I've managed to pin-down the problem to the .metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.ui.workbench/workbench.xml file.
When I remove that fille Eclipse starts without a problem and I can work just fine. However I'll loose my whole UI settings.
I've got the following software installed:
Atlassian Connector for Eclipse (Required) 3.0.2.v20111010
CollabNet Merge Client 3.0.5
Eclipse IDE for Java Developers 1.4.1.20110909-1818
JetBrains TeamCity Core (Required) 6.5.0.18130
JetBrains TeamCity Java Code Coverage 6.5.0.18130
Mylyn Context Connector: Eclipse IDE 3.6.5.v20120215-0100
Mylyn Context Connector: Team Support 3.6.5.v20120215-0100
Mylyn Task List 3.6.5.v20120215-0100
Mylyn Task-Focused Interface 3.6.5.v20120215-0100
Mylyn Tasks Connector: Bugzilla 3.6.5.v20120215-0100
PyDev for Eclipse 2.4.0.2012020116
Pydev Mylyn Integration 0.3.0
Subclipse (Required) 1.8.4
Subclipse Integration for Mylyn 3.x (Optional) 3.0.0
Subversion Client Adapter (Required) 1.8.0
Subversion JavaHL Native Library Adapter (Required) 1.7.2g
Subversion Revision Graph 1.1.1
I've attached the workbench.xml file in the hopes someone can tell me why this is happening.
Some extra information:
- Disabling network connection does not help.
- Running Windows 7 x86
- Eclipse Indigo Service Release 1, Build id: 20110916-0149
