Hello everybody.

I would like to be able to record my test scripts against Europa and AGR
4.4, but to play them back both against Europa and against Callisto (+
AGR 4.3). This is because I would like to be able to deliver my (tested)
plugins for both versions of Eclipse. Can I do this or are there
backward compatibility issues in AGR that may prevent scripts recorded
in AGR 4.4 from playing back in AGR 4.3?

TIA,
B.

Hi Barbara,

I can't see a reason that your recordings wouldn't work if the =
dependencies are all there in both scenarios and you have accounted for =
any UI changes. That said, I would recommend recording against Callisto =
for now to be safe as your 4.3 context is likely using an Eclipse 3.2 =
and 4.4 an Eclipse 3.3. Please see the Eclipse support statement here: =
http://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/development/eclipse_project_p lan_3_3.html#=
Compatibility

Please check back to our official support statement on the TPTP download =
page. I see this issue is not yet addressed there. Please also let me =
know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Sincerely,

Liz Dancy
