It seems like GEF has some very useful classes for action handling that
would be a nice addition to JFace or platform UI areas. In particular, the
way that org.eclipse.gef.ui.actions.ActionBarContributor is implemented
makes adding retargetable editor actions a breeze. All the editor has to
do is adapt to ActionRegistry and everything works seemlessly. Since there
are not any GEF dependencies in those classes, would it make sense to make
the them available for non-GEF applications as well?
