I've been asked to port a project written on a Mac using Visual Cafe to
Eclipse on a windows PC. I'm relatively new to Eclipse and I would like to
know how to do this. Is there someone who has done this and could give me
some pointers ?

What is the nature of the original package? Is it a database
application -- using the symantec.itools.db package? Or was VC used
just for the visual form designer/bean assembler aspects? Do you need
to convert existing forms or can you recreate from scratch?

Depending on the nature of your original package, there are different
series of replacements/options that can be recommended.
