Removing Palette Items Tutorial Help [message #9329] Wed, 18 February 2009 18:02 Go to next message

Hi,

I am trying to integrate the BPMN Modeler into my own plugin and would
like to remove some of the palette items. I have followed the wiki
tutorial (
http://wiki.eclipse.org/STP/BPMN_Component/Developing_with_t he_STP_BPMN_modeler#Hiding_elements_of_the_palette
), but I am having a little difficulty.

If I add an "editor", then the items do not hide, but if I do not add an
editor, two palettes are shown (one with the items hidden, and another one
with all items)

Can someone please point me to the right direction?

Thanks,
Lia

Which palette shows with all the items ? Are you talking of the popup
toolbar, which shows on top of the diagram while hovering ?

When I include the editor, the palette has two sets of all collapsible
menus (Basic Shapes, Start Events, etc.), such that immediately under the
first "Artifacts" there is another "Basic BPMN Shapes", like so:

Basic BPMN Shapes
..
..
..
Artifacts
Basic BPMN Shapes
..
..
..
Artifacts

In the first "set", the items I want hidden are hidden; but they appear in
the second "set" along with the other duplicated items

Thanks,

Lia

Looks like you did something wrong then, you must have duplicated
content somehow while populating the palette.
