I'm trying to use a SWF player to embed flash movies. The player is
located in a directory registered as resource via
org.eclipse.equinox.http.registry.resources extension point, and I'm
accessing it from within a browser widget. When the browser content is
loaded, I get a 404 error displayed in Firebug (see screenshot).
It seems it is searched for the .swf file in
/rwt-resources/org.eclipse.swt.browser/ where the .html file contained
in the browser is located. Nevertheless, the URLs in this .html file
point to the location where the resources where registered, and if I
directly visit those URLs in firefox (or any other browser) the SWF
player is found, and even plays the video if I pass the flashvars as URL
params.
After manually copying the .swf player to
/rwt-resources/org.eclipse.swt.browser/ everything works fine for the
rest of the session.
So why is it expected at this location? Anything I'm doing wrong?
Please let me know if you need more information.
Thanks and Regards,
Werner
