CVS versions and branches won't show [message #101017] Sun, 27 July 2003 17:42 Go to next message

Hi!

We (our development group of three) are having problems with CVS under Eclipse -
it does not show our versions and branches.
Actually, it shows in Eclipse for the person who created the version and
bransch, but nothing shows for the rest of us.
Our CVS repository is on a Linux machine and we use Eclipse
2.1/2.1.1/3.0M1/3.0M2 under Linux and Win.

I've tried "Refresh Branches" without any luck. Any suggestions?

Regards,
Jimisola

You have to do "Configure Branches and Versions" and select files from
which eclipse can derive the branch tags.

And where do I do this?
I started following the instructions in the help. The "Configure Branches and
Versions" should be available from a pop-up menu.
However, I can seem to find it. Would appreciate if you pinpointed be, I've been
checking pretty much every menu I known of.

Kind regards,
Jimisola

I resolved it. The Eclipse Platform Help says that one should expand the HEAD
and select the root folder whose tags are to be discovered.
The context menu does not show if you do this, you have to select folder under
the Versions tree.

Thanks.
