Hi all,
I have an ecore model with 10 classes in it. 4 of these class have
visual attributes in GMF and the other 6 don't. A typical instance data
for the 4 classes is about 20 EObjects and the other 6 classes will have
around 60,000 EObjects.
Now when I load this up in GMF, GMF attaches all sorts of adapters
(CrossReferenceAdapters) to ALL my EObjects. This results in a very
slow startup and poor performance.
I have got around this problem by creating my own resourceSet (with the
help of Ed (thanks Ed!!!)) that hides the "back-end model", but I am
wondering if there is a more GMFy way of doing this?
Thanks,
Ian
