Hi there!

We have a fairly static cvs-structure with tagged versions on file-basis.
These tags (modulversions) were not recognized by eclipse's "select
branch/tag" panel..
As I noticed in the helpsystem, we can add _each_ tags for each module
manually. This is not an isse if those taggs would be static and do not
grow (in count). But they do, obviously:-(
Therefor we try to write those "available tags" in the .project file
which should be checked automatically if a get it right.

But the problem is: what is the concrete syntax of that
projectDescription? If there a dscription/dtd somewhere?
Is there another approach?

Until now our company uses netbeans 3.5/6 - and there you just set the
branch/tag-name on any file/directory directly.
Too bad;-(
I - as a pure eclipse devotee privatly - want that stuff in the company;-)

thanks in advance,
Toni

If you use 3.1 you can auto-refresh those tags: Preference > Team >
CVSRefresh tags when comparing or replacing tags
