is there any variable I have to set to decide the color of the highlighted
text in the infocenter search.

Help uses system colors, and highlighted text is coded as
style.background="Highlight";
style.color="HighlightText";
You can change colors of your Windows, and help system will react. There is
no variable exposed in Eclipse to override colors used for search highlight.
