debug with stl code freezes [message #99365] Sun, 11 April 2004 22:22 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I am trying to debug a code which uses STL classes, however, when current
scope contains objects derived from STL classes and the variables view is
being displayed, debugger freezes. I am using CDT M8 with eclipse M8 and I
also tried with M7 builds of CDT and eclipse. I can succesfully debug the
same code with eclipse 2.1.2 with CDT 1.2.1. Does anybody have a similar
problem?

Thanks,

Koray

If I select Cygwin GDB debugger in debug configuration, everything works
fine.

I have found out that the below is not exactly true, although it may be
the case for some. There is a bug entry 56500 where you can find more
detailed info.
