Hi, guys.
I am sorry to bother you at this time.I have some question about
Eclipse for Linux, it confused me for a long time, please give me some
help.

I am a developer under Windows, I always use eclipse to write C/C++
program with Eclipse for Windows edition.

There are so many times I have try to write C/C++ program with Eclipse
under Linux, I have found that the it is more unstable than Windows.

Is there any some reasons caused this problem?

does anyone have any detail information about this kind of problem?

Or only just me feel the eclipse for Linux is more unstable than windows.

I have read some articles, there are many unstable package make Linux
unstable. And there are some bugs in JDK make eclipse for Linux
unstable.
Do you have some detail? Or tell me where can I find it.

These information would give a great help.We want to develop something
under linux based on Eclipse plugin project, But I have to analyse the
stability of eclipse under Linux.

Thanks.

What stability problems did you encounter? I am using Eclipse on Linux for more than six years on a daily basis and I am very happy with it.
